Droid Gamers: What inspires your pixel sprite creation?
Ilsun: As Art Director, I oversee Goddess Order's visuals, aiming for a console-quality pixel art experience. Inspiration isn't drawn from specific sources but from a vast well of gaming experiences and everyday observations. The initial characters—Lisbeth, Violet, and Jan—were born from solo work, but their development blossomed through collaboration with the team. Discussions with scenario writers and combat designers further shaped their design, ensuring a cohesive vision. For example, a character concept like "a refined noblewoman who becomes a fierce dual-blade warrior" is collaboratively refined through sketching and discussion.
Droid Gamers: How do you approach world-building in a fantasy RPG?
Terron J.: World-building begins with the characters. Lisbeth, Violet, and Yan, defined through their personalities, missions, and stories, formed the game's foundation. Their inherent strengths and narratives shaped the gameplay and scenario, making the writing process a deeply engaging experience.
Droid Gamers: How are combat styles and animations designed?
Terron J.: Goddess Order's combat features three characters using linked skills. Design involves defining unique roles (e.g., powerful attacker, support healer) and ensuring strategic synergy. Balancing is crucial, avoiding cumbersome controls and ensuring each character offers a distinct advantage.
Ilsun: Visually, we aim for impactful combat. While 2D pixel art is used, we strive for three-dimensional movement in the animations. The team even uses real-world weapons to study movement for authenticity.
Terron J.: Finally, technical optimization for mobile devices is vital, ensuring smooth gameplay even on lower-spec devices without compromising cutscenes or immersion.

Ilsun: Goddess Order tells the story of the Lisbeth Knights saving the world. Future updates will include expanded chapter scenarios, origin stories, additional activities (quests, treasure hunts), and challenging advanced content with refined controls. We welcome player feedback post-launch.
