Tower of Fantasy Launches Warp Server on November 25
The New Server Brings New Systems and a Stronger MMO Focus

Tower of Fantasy is introducing a new gacha-free Warp Server debuting on November 25, 2025. According to the developers, this server features revamped systems and progression mechanics tailored to meet player expectations. Launching alongside version 5.5, it marks a shift toward a more robust MMO-centric experience.
Tower of Fantasy currently provides players with an expansive open-world adventure set on the sci-fi planet Aida, combining exploration, narrative-driven missions, real-time combat, and character progression. Although it includes shared-world elements and small-team co-op play, the gameplay has largely remained solo-oriented, featuring limited social and MMO components—a feature many fans have long hoped would be expanded.
What’s New in the Warp Server

The new Warp Server eliminates weapons gacha, enabling players to obtain weapons directly through mission completion. Weapon enhancement has also been streamlined by removing Weapon Ascension and Matrices. Consequently, players will no longer need duplicate copies to fully upgrade a weapon or collect Matrices to fine-tune stats.
This Warp Server will operate independently from the main game. Early rumors suggest that character transfer or cloning may be possible, though global confirmation is pending. In China, similar setups function as two distinct servers where characters can be cloned, allowing players to experience both gacha and non-gacha versions simultaneously. Sharing the same engine and mechanics, the Warp Server offers a different perspective on the game, emphasizing non-gacha progression and social interaction.

The Warp Server will allow players to collect shards for all released outfits, simplifying cosmetic customization. Additionally, a new Trade System enables the exchange of Simulacrum Shards and appearances—key resources used to unlock or alter character looks. This system is expected to foster a player-driven economy, granting the community greater freedom to trade and acquire desired items.
Crews, Tower of Fantasy’s guild system, will be expanded with the introduction of Crew Bases, serving as hubs for socializing and trading shards, along with Crew GVE Activities designed to help newer players catch up. The server also adds six Life Classes, such as Cook and Forger, introducing casual, non-combat gameplay similar to crafter and gatherer roles found in other MMOs.
A Growing Trend Toward Gacha-Free Systems

The most significant change is the complete removal of weapons gacha, reflecting a broader trend seen in titles like Duet Night Abyss and the upcoming Ananta, which are eliminating character gacha. Both games appear to be adopting more accessible progression systems, reducing reliance on random pulls for core upgrades.
It remains uncertain whether Hotta’s decision to launch a separate, gacha-free Warp Server indicates that Neverness To Everness, currently in development, will follow a similar model.
Tower of Fantasy’s Warp Server is set to arrive on November 25, 2025. The development team has promised further details and updates in the coming days, so players can anticipate more announcements regarding new systems and gameplay improvements.
