"Mawile Debuts in Pokemon Sleep with Cooking Event This Month"
- Mawile joins Pokémon Sleep with a Slumbering Sleep Type
- Collect bonuses during Packed Portions Cooking Week
- Event begins June 9th
If you thought the Dark-type duo Murkrow and Honchkrow were the highlight of your sleep-tracking journey, get ready for more excitement—Pokémon Sleep is expanding its research roster this month. Mawile, the cunning Steel-type Pokémon, makes its debut in the game starting June 9th. With its Slumbering Sleep Type, this fan-favorite will add a new layer to your nightly data collection. Make sure your sleep routine is on point, because that’s when you’ll have the best chance to encounter Mawile while you rest.
From June 9th, Mawile will appear in your research data, and you can begin using Pokémon Incense at 3:00 p.m. to boost your chances. Focus your efforts in key locations like Greengrass Isle, Taupe Hollow, and the Old Gold Power Plant for optimal results.
Mawile comes equipped with the Hyper Cutter (Ingredient Draw S) Main Skill, which allows it to gather one randomly selected ingredient after each sleep session. Thanks to its special ability, there’s even a chance you’ll receive extra ingredients—perfect for stocking up during cooking events.
And speaking of cooking, Packed Portions Cooking Week kicks off the same day—June 9th—shining a spotlight on Helper Pokémon with the Ingredients specialty. During this event, the Strength value of dishes you prepare will receive a 1.5x multiplier, making it a prime opportunity to level up your meal game.
In addition to Mawile, several Pokémon will have a Slightly Greater Appearance Rate from June 9th to June 16th:
- Bulbasaur, Charmander, Squirtle, Gastly
- Pinsir, Eevee, Dratini, Wooper
- Murkrow, Aron, Heracross, Delibird
- Happiny, Sprigatito, Fuecoco
And yes—shiny variants are also possible in Pokémon Sleep. Keep tracking, keep cooking, and you might just catch a rare sparkle in your results.
