Wizards of the Coast has been steadily unveiling details about their upcoming Magic: The Gathering collaboration with Final Fantasy this summer. The recent PAX East event showcased numerous cards from both the main set and Commander decks, delighting fans with nostalgic references and surprising adaptations from the beloved RPG series.
Dual Approach: Boosters and Commander Decks
This Universes Beyond crossover offers both traditional booster packs and specialized Commander decks, delivering an extensive collection. The main booster set spans the entire Final Fantasy franchise from FFI through FFXVI, while the Commander decks specifically highlight FFVI, FFVII, FFX, and FFXIV, featuring iconic characters as Commanders.

Innovative Card Mechanics
