Exploitative Build Causes Server Instability Through Infinite Damage Loop

The current Diablo 4 season introduced powerful seasonal boss abilities that, when combined strategically, create an infinite damage loop capable of slowing server performance. Game content creator Macrobioboi demonstrated this phenomenon in a May 9th video showing how specific boss powers and Legendary Aspects can decimate entire enemy groups instantly.

This build requires equipping the Vampiric Curse Legendary Aspect, which permanently applies Vulnerable status to enemies until their death. While typically beneficial for damage output, the Aspect interacts unexpectedly with other abilities.
The Flesh Reaper's Disruption boss power attempts to stun enemies while removing Vulnerable status. However, the Vampiric Curse prevents Vulnerable from being removed, creating an endless stun loop. When combined with Varshan's Life Steal power dealing massive damage on each boss ability activation, the game processes countless calculations that overwhelm server performance.
Prominent streamer wudijo showcased this effect in action, showing waves of enemies perpetually stunned amidst visual clutter. "The intensive calculations happening server-side make this an understandably lag-inducing build," he explained. Blizzard has yet to address this performance issue, currently allowing players to experiment despite the server strain.
Premium Berserk Collaboration Pricing Sparks Fan Concerns

Diablo 4's current Berserk crossover introduces manga-inspired cosmetics, though the premium pricing structure has raised eyebrows in the community. While some free items are earnable through gameplay, the most iconic armor sets require premium currency purchases.

Players can obtain these free cosmetics by spending in-game Behelits:
- Hawks Destiny Back Trophy
- Skull Knight's Heraldry Mount Armor
- Brand of Sacrifice Marking
- Foretold Eclipse Headstone
- Od of the Berserker Emblem

The premium cosmetic bundles include:
- Berserker Armor (Barbarian) - 2,800 Platinum ($28)
- Hawk of Light (Rogue) - 2,800 Platinum
- The Struggler (Rogue) - 2,800 Platinum
- Skull Knight (Necromancer) - 2,800 Platinum
- The Schnoz Pet Bundle - 2,800 Platinum
- Warhorse of the Hawk Mount Set - 2,500 Platinum
The pricing model mirrors previous collaborations, suggesting this may become routine for future crossovers. While the cosmetic quality remains high, many players question the value when full sets cost nearly half the base game's price. Acquiring all Berserk content requires approximately $150 or the 15,000 Platinum bundle.
