Zenless Zone Zero 1.7 'Bury Your Tears with the Past' Launches Soon

HoYoverse has exciting news for fans of Zenless Zone Zero as they've announced the launch date for Version 1.7, titled 'Bury Your Tears with the Past.' This update is set to roll out on April 23rd, marking the culmination of Season 1's narrative.

What’s in Store in Zenless Zone Zero Version 1.7?

Version 1.7 promises to unveil the long-standing mystery surrounding the Sacrifice crisis. Players will delve deeper into Vivian's intricate backstory and finally learn the truth about Hugo's fate following his dramatic plunge into the Hollow. The tension between Mockingbird and TOPS escalates, prompting the Mayor to dispatch a special Void Hunter-rank investigator to navigate the escalating situation.

Joining Vivian, Proxies will venture into hostile territories to locate the Sacrifice Core. Vivian's unresolved past will confront her as the Exaltists' conspiracy begins to unravel. For a sneak peek into the story, check out the Zenless Zone Zero Version 1.7 trailer below.

Here’s the Character Lineup

Version 1.7 introduces two new S-Rank Agents from Mockingbird. Vivian, an Ether Anomaly Agent, wields a parasol and rapier, delivering potent Corruption damage that synergizes well with other characters' EX Special Attacks. The second new character, Hugo, is an Ice Attack Agent. With his suitcase transforming into a scythe, he deals devastating blows to stunned enemies, triggering the Totalize effect that amplifies damage based on the remaining stun duration.

Additionally, Robin, Mockingbird's agile Bangboo partner, will join the fray, throwing cards with unpredictable effects. Returning characters include Jane, a Physical Anomaly Agent, and Lighter, a Fire Stun Agent, who will both feature in Version 1.7's banners.

Alongside the narrative and character additions, Version 1.7 brings new events to Zenless Zone Zero. The 'Say It With Flowers' event allows players to manage a flower shop, fulfilling design requests and creating floral arrangements for customers. Completing these commissions will unlock a permanent floral arrangement mini-game in Quality Time mode, along with exclusive rewards.
