Xbox Game Pass Reveals New January Titles

Xbox Game Pass January 2025 Lineup Revealed

New Arrivals and Departures for Xbox Game Pass Subscribers

Microsoft has unveiled the first wave of games coming to Xbox Game Pass in January 2025, featuring notable titles like Road 96, My Time at Sandrock, and Diablo. Meanwhile, six games including Exoprimal and Those Who Remain will be exiting the service this month.

Official January Lineup Confirmed

The first official Xbox Game Pass announcement of 2025 confirms earlier leaks about the subscription service's January offerings. While rumors had circulated about potential additions, Microsoft has now officially detailed seven incoming titles - beginning with Road 96 available immediately.

The acclaimed narrative adventure Road 96 returns to Game Pass after previously leaving in June 2023. This surprise early availability kicks off a month that will see Lightyear Frontier (Preview), My Time at Sandrock, Robin Hood - Sherwood Builders, and Rolling Hills arrive on January 8, followed by UFC 5 and Diablo on January 14.

Tier-Based Access and Departing Titles

Notably, Diablo will be exclusive to PC Game Pass and Ultimate subscribers, while UFC 5 requires Game Pass Ultimate. The other January additions are available across all subscription tiers.

Alongside new arrivals, Microsoft confirmed six titles leaving Game Pass on January 15:

  • Common'hood
  • Escape Academy
  • Exoprimal
  • Figment
  • Insurgency Sandstorm
  • Those Who Remain

Looking Ahead

These announcements represent just the first half of January's Game Pass updates, with Microsoft expected to reveal additional titles for late January soon. Subscribers can also enjoy new Ultimate perks including Apex Legends cosmetics and DLC packs for multiple games.

The January lineup continues Microsoft's efforts to maintain Game Pass's value following recent subscription service changes implemented at the start of 2025.
