How to Obtain the Pose of the Unbound Emote in FFXIV

Acquiring the Pose of the Unbound requires you to complete the quest titled Imposing Views. To begin, locate the Unbound Agent NPC in Ul’dah – Steps of Thal, found at coordinates X:12.5, Y:11.5. However, before you can start this quest, you must first finish the prerequisite quest, Picking Up the Torch.

To unlock Picking Up the Torch, you’ll need to reach level 100 with all five roles in the game: Tank, Healer, Ranged DPS, Melee DPS, and Magical Ranged DPS. Once you’ve achieved this milestone, head to Tulliyollal and pick up the role-specific quests for each class. Completing these will grant you access to Picking Up the Torch, allowing you to progress further.

After finishing Picking Up the Torch, return to Ul’dah and accept Imposing Views from the Unbound Agent. This quest is straightforward—travel to the Sagolii Desert, talk to Apyaahi multiple times, and defeat a few enemies along the way. Upon completion, you’ll earn the Pose of the Unbound emote as your reward.

To use the emote, simply type /unbound or /poseoftheunbound into the chat box and press Enter. Your character will strike a humorous pose inspired by the popular manga series, Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure.
