Project U: Ubisoft’s Mysterious Co-op Shooter Gets Leaked Intro Video

Ubisoft's unannounced game, Project U, has been plagued by a series of unfortunate leaks, starting as early as 2022, shortly after the closed beta testing phase began. These leaks have resurfaced two years later, indicating that the project is still in development. Recently, following what appears to be a reboot of the game's development, an introductory cinematic has been leaked online.

The source and authenticity of this cinematic remain unconfirmed. It was shared by blogger Shaun Weber, known for leaking gaming content. Weber has hinted that more videos from Project U could surface if the game continues to be developed over time.

Project U is anticipated to be a session-based cooperative shooter, taking inspiration from the success of Helldivers 2. According to the leaked footage, the game's storyline centers on an alien machine invasion of Earth, with players assuming the roles of chosen individuals tasked with fighting this extraterrestrial threat.

As of now, Ubisoft has not provided any official information regarding the formal announcement of Project U.
