The new MacBook Air lineup includes two sizes—13 inches for portability and 15 inches for more screen real estate. Priced at $999 for the 13-inch model (a $100 discount from last year) and $1,199 for the larger version, these laptops boast enhanced performance thanks to the M4 chip. Equipped with a 10-core CPU, 8-core GPU, 16GB of RAM, and 256GB of storage, users can further customize their machines with up to a 10-core GPU, 32GB of RAM, and 2TB of storage.

Visually, the 13-inch model introduces a new Sky Blue color option—a subtle yet stylish blend of silver and light blue. Other hues include Midnight (black), Starlight (gold), and Silver. Space Gray, a long-standing favorite, is no longer available, but its essence lives on in the new color palette. Each MacBook Air will ship with a matching MagSafe charging cable.

Inside, the upgraded webcam delivers sharper visuals through a 12-megapixel lens, enhancing video calls and FaceTime sessions.

Although not a groundbreaking overhaul, the M4 chip significantly elevates performance, with Apple claiming it operates twice as fast as the M1-equipped model. For Intel-based users, this marks a monumental leap forward, with speeds reportedly 23 times faster than recent models.
