May 2025 is shaping up to be an exciting month for Pokémon GO players, packed with a variety of events and raid opportunities. One of the highlights is undoubtedly the return of the Lake Trio, featuring Uxie, Mesprit, and Azelf in 5-Star Raids across different regions.

What Does Pokémon GO Have in Store for May 2025?

Kicking off the month, Tapu Fini will make its presence felt in Five-Star raids from May 1st to May 12th. Players can look forward to encountering Tapu Fini with its special move, Nature's Madness, and the chance to catch its Shiny form.

Following Tapu Fini, the Lake Trio takes center stage starting May 12th. Depending on your location, you'll have the chance to battle Uxie in the Asia-Pacific region, Mesprit in Europe, the Middle East, Africa, and India, or Azelf in the Americas and Greenland.

After the Lake Trio's run, Tapu Bulu enters the fray in raids from May 25th to June 3rd, 2025, also showcasing Nature's Madness and a potential Shiny form.

For those interested in Mega Raids, May offers a robust lineup. Mega Houndoom will be available from May 1st to 12th, followed by Mega Gyarados from May 12th to 25th, and wrapping up with Mega Altaria from May 25th to June 3rd.

The month's events kick off with "Growing Up" from May 2 to 7, featuring a Mega Kangaskhan Raid Day on May 3rd. "Crown Clash" runs from May 10th to 18th, with the Dynamax Suicune Max Battle Weekend taking place on May 10th and 11th.
