"Monster Hunter Now Season 5: The Blossoming Blade Arrives Soon!"

Monster Hunter Now is gearing up for an exciting Season 5: The Blossoming Blade, set to launch on March 6th, 2025, as announced by Niantic. This season promises a wealth of new content, including fresh challenges, weapons, a Season Pass, and new monsters to conquer.

Getting Ready for Monster Hunter Now Season 5

In anticipation of Season 5, players can look forward to the early arrival of Chatacabra on February 28th. This marks its debut before its appearance in Monster Hunter Wilds. Once the season officially kicks off, players will also encounter Glavenus and Arzuros, adding to the roster of monsters to hunt.

Weapon balance is a key focus for Season 5, with adjustments designed to enhance the viability and enjoyment of every weapon type. The Sword & Shield, for instance, is receiving a significant buff that will simplify targeting breakable parts like tails. Additionally, the Perfect Rush Combo (SP) will now reward well-timed taps with enhanced performance, making for more satisfying combat sequences.

The Guard skill is also set for an upgrade. Previously, leveling up Guard had minimal impact, but now, higher skill levels will substantially reduce damage taken during blocks. Further details on these tweaks and more will be available in the full patch notes released on March 6th.

And There Is More!

For those struggling with inventory management, Season 5 introduces an Item Box Expansion available as a Supply Item. This expansion offers an additional 250 slots, providing much-needed relief for cluttered inventories.

As part of Monster Hunter Now's 1.5-Year Anniversary on March 17th, a new feature will allow players to trade special materials obtained from hunts and events for valuable rewards. These rewards include Item Box Expansions, Weapon Refining Parts, Armor Refining Parts, and Wyvern Gem Shards, enhancing the gameplay experience significantly.
