Following the exciting announcement of 26 new cast members for the highly anticipated Avengers: Doomsday, Marvel Studios and Robert Downey Jr. have hinted that there may be even more surprises in store for fans. During a recent livestream, Marvel unveiled the cast list, signaling the beginning of production, and confirmed that Robert Downey Jr. will portray Doctor Doom, a significant shift from his iconic role as Iron Man.

Among the notable additions, Channing Tatum is set to reprise his role as the beloved X-Men character Gambit. You can view the complete cast list here. However, the absence of several key Marvel characters like Tom Holland’s Spider-Man, Chris Evans’ Captain America, and others such as Hulk, Hawkeye, Nick Fury, and Rhodey has sparked discussions among fans. Despite the initial disappointment from fans regarding these missing characters, Robert Downey Jr. posted on Instagram, teasing further announcements. He remarked, "That’s what u call a deep bench of talent. Actually it’s more like a row, but an extra long one… That must be it.. right?" Marvel Studios responded in the comments, suggesting "there's always room for more," while the Russo Brothers, who are directing the film, cryptically added, "It’s time…"
