Madam Bo, Feisty Old Lady, Joins Mortal Kombat 1 as New Kameo Fighter

Mortal Kombat 1 Welcomes Madam Bo

New Kameo Fighter

Mortal Kombat 1 has released the official trailer for its latest Kameo fighter, Madam Bo, the owner of Fengjian Teahouse. Alongside her, T-1000 from Terminator 2 will join the fray as a guest character on March 18th, 2025, as part of Kombat Pack 2 and the Khaos Reigns expansion.

Before her role as an assist character, Madam Bo appeared in Mortal Kombat 1’s story mode. She was seemingly defeated by Lin Kuei assassin Smoke for failing to pay protection money, but this was a clever ruse to prepare Raiden and Kung Lao for the tournament. Despite her unassuming appearance, Madam Bo is a formidable fighter. As a former associate of the Lin Kuei and a skilled martial artist, she has mentored both Raiden and Kung Lao.

In the gameplay footage, Madam Bo is seen assisting her pupils with powerful kicks and punches, smashing glass bottles, and executing a unique fatality where she kicks her opponent's head off, catching it on a tea tray.

T-1000 Makes Its Guest Debut

Joining Madam Bo on March 18th is the iconic T-1000 from Terminator 2: Judgment Day. This liquid metal assassin will make its debut in the Mortal Kombat franchise as a playable character, utilizing its shapeshifting abilities to wield a sharp sword or a machine gun in combat.

Mortal Kombat 1: Khaos Reigns Expansion

Madam Bo and T-1000 are part of the new Mortal Kombat 1 expansion, Khaos Reigns. This expansion extends Liu Kang’s New Era storyline with a new campaign and a cinematic experience. Players will follow Liu Kang as he gathers his champions to combat the ruthless Titan Havik, who poses a significant threat to the world and the New Era.

The Kombat Pack 2, part of the Khaos Reigns DLC, introduces several new characters. The pack began rolling out in September 2024 with the return of Sektor, Noob Saibot, and Cyrax. This was followed by Ghostface from the Scream franchise in November and Conan the Barbarian in January 2025. Madam Bo and T-1000 will complete the roster later this month, adding even more excitement to the Mortal Kombat 1 experience.
