Insomniac Games Looks For More Game-To-Screen Adaptations
Insomniac Games has expressed a keen interest in bringing more of their beloved game franchises to the screen. Schneider reflected on the 2016 Ratchet and Clank film, saying, "I think back to the Ratchet and Clank film from several years ago. And we kind of got an early start on that. So, of course, we’re interested in that kind of thing. We love Ratchet and Clank in particular."
Despite the mixed reviews of the 2016 film, Insomniac's confidence is bolstered by their acquisition by Sony in 2019. Sony's track record with successful adaptations, such as The Last of Us, which has received widespread acclaim, further fuels their ambition.

Insomniac Founder and CEO Ted Price Retires After 30 Years
In a significant transition for the company, Insomniac Founder and CEO Ted Price announced his retirement after over three decades at the helm. Price, who led the development of cherished franchises like "Spyro the Dragon," "Ratchet & Clank," and "Marvel’s Spider-Man," stated, "I actually made this decision last year. For me, after over 30 years of leading Insomniac, I felt it was simply time to step aside and let others pave the way for our team."
The leadership will now be shared among three Insomniac veterans: Ryan Schneider, Chad Dezern, and Jen Huang, who will serve as Co-Studio Heads. Price expressed his confidence in the new leadership, saying, "I believe strongly that for us to continue our success, we need leaders at the top who are intimately familiar with how we do things, leaders who have helped build our culture and our processes, and who have earned people’s trust."
