Hayden Christensen Returns as Anakin in Ahsoka Season 2 - Star Wars
At Star Wars Celebration, it was thrillingly announced that Hayden Christensen will reprise his role as Anakin Skywalker in Season 2 of *Ahsoka*. While specifics about Anakin's role remain under wraps, fans are undoubtedly excited to see more of Ahsoka's journey with her former master.
Christensen made a special appearance at the *Ahsoka* panel during the event, discussing his return to the iconic role. "It was a dream to get to do," he expressed, highlighting the innovative approach of exploring the World Between Worlds. "I thought it was all really exciting."
*Ahsoka* series creator Dave Filoni humorously noted the lengths he went to in order to collaborate with Christensen again, mentioning, "I had to invent entire dimensions to make it happen." Their discussions delved into Anakin's activities during the Clone Wars, a narrative previously explored in animation but now brought to life in live-action. Christensen shared his enthusiasm, saying, "As much as I love the traditional Jedi robes I wore during the prequels, it was exciting to get to see Anakin with a new look."
Later in the panel, Filoni discussed how their shared experiences working with George Lucas fostered a deep connection, enabling them to enrich Anakin's character portrayal. Christensen added with a chuckle, "I always have George's voice in the back of my head saying, 'faster, more intense!'"
