Following the success of its initial collaboration, the renowned sports simulator eFootball has unveiled volume two of its exciting partnership with the beloved manga series, Captain Tsubasa. This new volume introduces an array of themed rewards for fans to unlock, celebrating the legendary sports manga!

As we've previously detailed, Captain Tsubasa is a celebrated multimedia franchise that began as a manga by Yoichi Takahashi. It follows the journey of Tsubasa Oozora from an amateur footballer to a world-class professional.

The latest update enriches the collaboration with enticing log-in bonuses, including special edition cards designed by Takahashi himself. These cards feature top football personalities like Neymar Jr. and Lionel Messi. Additionally, players can collect unique crossover cards that blend the characters from the series with legendary real-life players, such as Michel Platini paired with Elle Sid Pierre or Diego Forlán with Ramon Victorino.

I believe it's no exaggeration to say that Captain Tsubasa, alongside other iconic manga like Dragon Ball and One Piece, is a cornerstone of manga culture. This series arguably ignited the modern fascination with sports-themed manga, paving the way for titles like Blue Lock, which has itself been a frequent collaborator in mobile gaming. Even those not deeply familiar with Captain Tsubasa can appreciate its significant influence in the genre.

eFootball isn't stopping at collaborations; it's also kicking off the in-game qualifiers for the eFootball Championship 2025 Open. The first round continues until February 6th, offering participants a shot at competing in the Open and vying for the title of World Champion.
