EA Launches Playtest for The Sims Spinoff, City Life Game with Friends

Electronic Arts, known as EA, is currently hosting an exclusive playtest for their new game, *City Life Game with Friends*, which is part of their exciting project, The Sims Project Rene. This limited-time playtest is designed to gather valuable feedback on the game's performance and player interactions, helping EA refine and perfect the game.

Where Is the City Life Game with Friends Playtest Available?

The playtest is exclusively available for Android devices. To participate, your phone must be running at least Android 12 and have a minimum of 4GB of RAM. Please note that this playtest isn't open to everyone, so ensure you meet the criteria before trying to join.

The playtest will run until April 4th, 2025, but the end times vary by region. It will conclude at 7 PM UTC, 6 AM AEST in Australia, and 3 AM PHT in the Philippines. Once the playtest period ends, the game will shut down, and you'll need to uninstall it from your device.

Keep in mind, this playtest is not a full version or a definitive showcase of the final product. It offers a glimpse into the direction EA might be taking with The Sims Project Rene, hinting at a range of experimental features and ideas they're exploring.

What’s in Store?

Once you're in the game, you can dive right into creating a character that reflects your personal style and vibe. The neighborhood is vibrant and bustling with activities. You can explore the Thrift Shop for new outfits, relax at the Café, or participate in community events.

Collaborate with other players to organize block parties, make wishes at the plaza fountain, and embark on quests to find hidden collectibles. *City Life Game with Friends* emphasizes social interaction and community building, encouraging players to connect over shared interests in art, music, and engaging conversations.

If you're interested and located in one of the playtest regions, head over to the Google Play Store to join the fun. If you're not part of the playtest, stay tuned for our next news update on Bandai Namco's decision to discontinue PAC-MAN Mobile on its 45th Anniversary.
