Deep Rock Galactic Survivor Android Pre-Registration Opens
Deep Rock Galactic: Survivor is coming to mobile devices this year, with pre-registration currently available. Originally released on Steam, this spin-off from the popular first-person co-op shooter Deep Rock Galactic is developed by Funday Games and published by Ghost Ship Publishing for mobile platforms.
Unlike its multiplayer predecessor, Survivor offers a single-player top-down bullet hell experience set in the same universe. Instead of collaborating with three other dwarves, players control a lone miner tasked with resource gathering and bug-slaying.
The auto-shooter mechanics plunge players into Hoxxes' treacherous caves, focusing on movement, evasion, and tunnel exploration. Every mission features randomly generated caverns and progressively challenging enemy encounters.
After arriving via Drop Pod, players complete corporate assignments while enhancing equipment to survive long enough for extraction with valuable minerals.
Adapted versions of the original game's classes appear with distinct specialties: Driller excels at mining with beam weapons, Engineer controls robotic allies, Scout prioritizes speed with light firearms, and Gunner provides armored brute force.
Each class offers three specialization paths that unlock unique weapons and perks. The gameplay adopts Vampire Survivors' portrait-oriented top-down perspective.
