The quest begins with Casper Rudolf, whom you can find by his drink cart on the east side of Kuttenberg City. Just enter through the east gate and head straight to meet him. Casper's curiosity about the monks' exceptional wine sets the stage for your adventure. Make sure to exhaust all dialogue options with Casper to learn about Havel and a crucial book he left with Adleta. This information will guide your approach to impressing Havel.

If you decide to retrieve the book from Adleta, head to the southeast corner of Kuttenberg's inner wall in the morning or afternoon. You'll find an open garden where Adleta often spends her time. Pick five Marigolds before you go. Try to reach Adleta before her brother, Hugo, arrives, or get Hugo's permission to speak with her. During your conversation, maintain a kind demeanor and explain that you need the book for Casper. You can either pass a skill check to persuade Adleta to give you the book or offer her the Marigolds as a gift in exchange for the book. Once you have it, make sure to read the book from your inventory.

Next, journey to the vineyard north of Kuttenberg. Start the "Under the Straw Hat" side quest by speaking to the recruiter. While completing this side quest isn't mandatory, it allows you to explore the vineyard freely without being considered a trespasser. Inside, find Jerome, who is usually seated on a bench near the main building.

Once inside the main building, sneak to the left and enter the storeroom. Use your lockpicking skills to open the chests and find the Sulphur Wicks, which are crucial for Casper. For extra Groschen, visit the garden behind the main building and collect five seedlings before leaving.

If you choose to complete "Under the Straw Hat," engage in tasks such as removing plants around the vines and moving sacks. After completing enough work, report to Jerome to finish the side quest and earn some Groschen. Otherwise, return to Casper with the Sulphur Wicks and seedlings, if you've collected them.
