With Assassin’s Creed Shadows (AC Shadows) having been released over a month ago, Ubisoft is committed to enhancing the gaming experience through a series of engaging updates. On May 1, Ubisoft shared their year 1 post-launch roadmap on Twitter (X), detailing new story and gameplay content that will keep players immersed in the world of AC Shadows.

One of the highlights is the introduction of new Story Drops, which are free content updates designed to enrich the game. Ubisoft explains, "These new free quests will introduce new player abilities, new allies, new world activities, and provide deeper looks and backstories for some of your favorite characters, each new piece of content expanding on the main game."

In addition to the Story Drops, Ubisoft is gearing up for the release of their first expansion, The Claws of Awaji, set to launch later this year. This expansion will transport players to the island of Awaji, a new region to explore post-epilogue of the base game. Expect to encounter new enemies, gain new abilities for both protagonists, and wield an exclusive new weapon for Naoe.
