UPGRADES

While the core game is free, upgrades let you customize your experience—choose your faction and starting territory size. Unleash chaos in fantasy battles that pit any two cultures against each other with as many units as your device can handle! You can even edit every character in the world, though please note the game actively uses up to 1,000 characters that are regularly cycled.

CONTROLS

When controlling an individual character, choose between the "Classic" one-handed control scheme or "Dual Wield" for independent hand control. New to the series? Simply pause the action by tapping the timeline to study the "Controls" guide. Keep an eye out for in-game hints hidden in scrolls and books throughout your journey.

Switch between team members anytime by tapping their health bar or directly selecting them on the battlefield. Use the bottom-screen arrows to enter "Commander" mode, where you direct any ally by swiping from their position to a target location. Your units will interpret commands to move, fight, or interact—though they'll prioritize based on their own judgment and current situation.

Regardless of your device or control style, you can always zoom in and out by pinching the center of the screen.

MAP

In the main "Campaign" mode, expand your territory by moving units between connected areas. Choose to "fortify" your holdings or attack rival territories. Note: only 50% of units in a territory can move—making defense easier than offense.

Population grows in controlled territories after each round, so territorial expansion is key. Units also gradually heal over time, encouraging you to rotate through different locations each turn.

PERFORMANCE

Please be aware this is my most ambitious game to date and may require a high-end device for optimal performance. Reduce the "Population" setting to limit on-screen characters, or adjust other options in the "Display" menu for smoother gameplay.
