Trinity Trigger: Secret of Mana-Style Action RPG Now on Android

The Japanese game studio Furyu Corporation has officially released *Trinity Trigger*, an action RPG now available on Android devices. Originally launched on consoles and PC with Xseed Games handling the Western release, this mobile version marks a shift as it is self-published by Furyu.

What’s the Story in Trinity Trigger?

In *Trinity Trigger*, you take on the role of Cyan, a young warrior destined to face off against the Warrior of Order as the chosen Warrior of Chaos. Throughout his journey across the world of Trinitia, Cyan forms powerful bonds with Elise and Zantis, two key allies who join him in battle.

Alongside these companions, players also gain support from the Triggers—beast-like creatures that can transform into eight distinct weapon types. During combat, you can freely switch between characters to dynamically adapt your strategy based on enemy behavior and battlefield conditions.

The narrative follows traditional JRPG themes such as fate, lost memories, and a world on the brink of collapse. The game features a classic structure with towns filled with NPCs, side quests, and dungeon exploration. These dungeons, known as Arma, are built from remnants of divine weapons and serve as challenging arenas packed with puzzles, hidden secrets, and fierce enemies. Environments vary widely—from icy tundras to scorching deserts—offering a richly diverse world to explore.

What About the Combat?

Combat in *Trinity Trigger* centers around the dynamic Weapon Wheel system, which allows for quick switching between different weapon types to exploit enemy weaknesses. This mechanic keeps battles engaging and strategic. Additionally, players can enhance their equipment using materials gathered throughout the adventure.

The game also boasts fully voiced dialogue and beautifully animated cutscenes that bring the story to life with cinematic flair. You can control three playable characters, each equipped with nine unique weapons and a variety of skills, offering a deep and customizable combat experience.

If you're intrigued and want to dive into this action-packed RPG, *Trinity Trigger* is now available for purchase on the Google Play Store at a price point of $19.99. While some may find it a bit steep, fans of the genre might find it worth the investment.
