Yesterday's Showcase: A Treasure Trove of Games

Nintendo's strategic decision to combine two smaller showcases proved successful, delivering a wave of announcements. Highlights include several surprise releases (detailed below), Capcom Fighting Collection 2, the Suikoden I & II remasters, Yakuza Kiwami, Tetris Forever, MySims, Worms Armageddon: Anniversary Edition, new entries in the Atelier and Rune Factory series, and much more. New Releases

Castlevania Dominus Collection ($24.99)

A fantastic surprise! This third Castlevania compilation features the three Nintendo DS titles: Dawn of Sorrow, Portrait of Ruin, and Order of Ecclesia. It also includes a remastered version of the infamous arcade game, Haunted Castle, significantly improved by M2. This collection offers exceptional emulation and a wealth of features, representing incredible value for the price.

Pizza Tower ($19.99)

This Wario Land-inspired platformer is a whirlwind of frantic action. Conquer the five massive floors of the Pizza Tower to save your restaurant. Fans of Wario's handheld adventures will find this irresistible, but even casual platforming enthusiasts should give it a try. A review is pending.

Goat Simulator 3 ($29.99)

Another surprise drop! Goat Simulator 3 delivers the chaotic goat-based mayhem you've come to expect. While performance on the Switch remains to be seen (given challenges on more powerful systems), its inherent silliness might even enhance the experience. Prepare for potential Switch-induced technical difficulties, or perhaps embrace the absurdity.

Peglin ($19.99)

A game that scratches that Peggle itch! This clever blend of Peggle mechanics and turn-based roguelite RPG elements is a must-have for fans. Previously available on mobile, it's just as enjoyable on the Switch. A full review is coming soon.

Doraemon Dorayaki Shop Story ($20.00)

Kairosoft's latest simulation game features the beloved Doraemon characters. This familiar shop-management sim incorporates the license effectively, even including cameo appearances from other characters from the manga artist's works.

Pico Park 2 ($8.99)

More Pico Park fun! Up to eight players can enjoy this cooperative puzzle game via local or online multiplayer. A great choice for those who loved the original, but likely won't attract many newcomers.

Kamitsubaki City Ensemble ($3.99)

A budget-friendly rhythm game featuring music from Kamitsubaki Studio. Simple, enjoyable, and affordable.

SokoPenguin ($4.99)

A classic Sokoban-style puzzle game with a penguin twist. One hundred levels await.

Q2 Humanity ($6.80)

Over three hundred quirky physics-based puzzles challenge your problem-solving skills. Utilize your character's abilities and drawing mechanics to succeed. Supports up to four players locally or online.
