RuneScape's latest Dev's Diary for April has just been released, giving players all the details about the exciting new update, Return to the Desert: Pharaoh's Folly. Here’s the Full Scoop on the Pharaoh’s Folly in RuneScape
The situation in the Kharidian desert is escalating as Menaphos descends into chaos. After Osman's shocking betrayal against his own people, the city is crumbling from within. The population is divided, Amascut's ominous presence is lurking in the shadows, and the dangers are mounting. Escaping the Shifting Tombs is just the beginning of what's to come.
You won't be tackling this challenge alone. Leela is back in action, and you'll have new allies, including some pets, to join you. Together, you'll delve into the ancient secrets of Menaphos and unravel Osman's true intentions.
Heading Back into the Heat Again
Completing Pharaoh's Folly comes with rewarding benefits. You'll earn Thieving and Agility XP, gain the title "The Rabble-Rouser," and receive a new bracelet called Leela's Favour. This bracelet allows you to teleport to all districts of Menaphos, the Sophanem slayer dungeon, the Shifting Tombs, and all active soul obelisks.
The Return to the Desert: Pharaoh's Folly quest is not for the faint-hearted or beginners straight out of Lumbridge. You'll need a Slayer level of 87, have completed the initial quest Beneath Scabaras' Sands, and checked off various tasks from the Do No Evil quest within Phite Club. Additionally, ensure you've built the necessary structures from the Fort Forinthry storyline. Once you meet all these requirements, you can join Leela outside the gates of Menaphos and strive to restore the city to its former glory. So, if you fulfill the criteria above, download the game from the Google Play Store and embark on your journey back to the desert!
