The R16 represents Alienware's 2024 desktop PC design, offering a 40% reduction in volume compared to its predecessors. It features an efficient airflow system, drawing air in through side intake vents over the GPU area and a front 120mm fan, and expelling it via a rear 120mm fan and two top 120mm fans. The 240mm radiator for the all-in-one liquid cooling system is mounted to these top fans. While some configurations may not include the liquid cooling system, we highly recommend it due to its superior performance over Alienware's standard air cooling. Note that Dell unveiled a new Area 51 chassis at CES 2025, which closely resembles the R16 in appearance and design.
