Civilization: Eras & Allies Launches Season 2: Modern Era and a Summerfest

2K is rolling out Season 2 of Civilization: Eras & Allies, introducing the Modern Era to the game. It’s live today across Asia for both Android and iOS. Experience new technologies and a seasonal celebration themed around Summerfest.

Have you been leading your empire with ancient strategies? It’s time to adapt.

Seven legendary historical figures are now joining the game: Napoleon, Queen Elizabeth I, Sanada Yukimura, Ryu Seong-ryong, Cyrus the Great, Nebuchadnezzar, and Queen Gudit.

The most significant addition in the Modern Era is the Governor System. Assign alliance members to govern conquered cities—Governors can oversee construction, attract up to 30 citizens, and unlock persistent alliance-wide bonuses as their cities grow.

Helicopters, Mobile SAMs, and Hypersonic Missiles have arrived on the battlefield. The Triumph Shop has also expanded, featuring new limited-time items such as Avatars, Avatar Frames, Chat Bubble Frames, and a brand-new Envoy.

Civilization: Eras & Allies unveils the Modern Era with Summerfest

The Summerfest celebration begins with the new season and runs from July 24th to August 13th. Participate in the 7-Day Login Event to earn Recruit Tokens, Gold, and City Blueprints.

The Festive Cheers feature grants daily Gold rewards simply by greeting fellow players in World Chat. A special Saladin Skin, Arabian Nights, is available exclusively during Summerfest. You’ll also have the chance to acquire the Atlantis City Skin.

Keep in mind that not all progress carries over into the new season. While certain elements reset, core resources like Diamonds and Gold remain intact. Check the in-game banner for full details.
