Baldur's Gate 3 is renowned for its rich tapestry of romance options, yet some hidden gems, like the encounter with Naoise Nallinto at Sharess' Caress, often go unnoticed. This fleeting romantic interlude occurs during a hectic part of the game and can be easily missed. In this guide, we'll explore how to locate Naoise and successfully navigate the romance in Baldur's Gate 3.

Where to Find Naoise Nallinto in Baldur's Gate 3

Visit Sharess' Caress in Act III:

To encounter Naoise, you must progress to the early stages of Act III. As you journey towards Baldur's Gate, you'll traverse Wyrm's Crossing. During your initial visit, a meeting with Raphael at Sharess' Caress, a local brothel located on the eastern side of the bridge leading into the city, is required.

If you've previously explored Wyrm's Crossing, utilize the South Span of Wyrm's Crossing fast-travel point to directly reach Sharess' Caress' front porch.

Look for Nymph's Grotto:

Naoise resides within the Nymph's Grotto, a secluded chamber on the second floor. Access it by passing through the door to the exterior area; the correct door is marked by a green light and ivy-clad walls. Though locked, it can be easily opened with a lock-picking roll of 10 or higher.

How to Romance Naoise Nallinto in Baldur's Gate 3

Interact with Naoise:

Upon entering, approach the bed where Naoise is engaged in a private moment with Jara, a Flaming Heart soldier. Your interruption prompts a confrontation as Jara's tadpole reacts to yours. Opt for:

  • "Whoever you think I am, you're mistaken."

This leads to Jara discussing the Absolute before transforming into a Mindflayer, whom you must defeat. Post-battle, Naoise expresses her fascination with Mindflayers, offering various dialogue choices. We selected:

  • "Your client is dead. I thought you'd be more upset."

An Insight check reveals Naoise's readiness for romance. Continue with:

  • "That creature aroused you, didn't it?"

Avoid judgmental responses. Naoise suggests an alternative 'flavor' might suffice. Choose:

  • "What did you have in mind?"
  • 'Close your eyes and listen'

This encounter unfolds mentally. Naoise asks you to define 'what you will be?' with options including:

  • Revered
  • Contented
  • Powerful
  • Rich
  • I think we're done here.

Selecting 'Contented' initiates a brief romantic scene. After the encounter, Naoise shows no further interest, mentioning 'rapture' is a one-time offering. Interestingly, this interaction doesn't affect other ongoing relationships, such as with Karlach, and Shadowheart rewards you with the 'Carnal Rituals of Sharess' inspiration point.

Upon successfully romancing Naoise, you receive the Rapture boon, granting a passive 1d6 bonus to nearly all ability checks.
