Pokémon TCG Pocket Adds Trading Feature and New Expansion This Month

The much-anticipated trading feature is set to launch on January 29th, perfectly timed to coincide with a brand-new expansion, Space-Time Smackdown, which will be released the very next day on January 30th!

For those unfamiliar with the trading feature, it allows you to exchange specific rarities of cards with friends, just as you would in person. To participate, you'll need to use trade hourglasses and trade tokens, adding an exciting layer of authenticity to the digital version of this iconic card collector game.

Following closely on the heels of the trading feature, the Space-Time Smackdown expansion introduces some beloved cards to Pokémon TCG Pocket. This expansion focuses on Pokémon from the Sinnoh region, featuring two new digital booster packs that include legendary Pokémon like Dialga and Palkia.

If legendary Pokémon aren't your top priority, you'll still find plenty to love in this update. Other fan favorites from the Sinnoh region, such as Lucario, and the starter trio of Turtwig, Chimchar, and Piplup, will also be making their debut.
