If there's one thing we've learned from our experience covering games, it's that rifts are typically a sign of trouble. Avid Games has taken this concept and run with it in their eagerly awaited sequel, *Eerie Worlds*, following up on their delightful tactical CCG, *Cards, the Universe and Everything*. While the aim remains to blend fun with education, *Eerie Worlds* shifts the focus to the fascinating world of monsters.

In *Eerie Worlds*, monsters emerge from these ominous rifts. Avid Games has crafted a stunningly diverse array of monsters, drawing inspiration from real-life horrors found in mythology and folklore across the globe.

Eerie Worlds MonstersThe game covers every conceivable type of folklore, introducing players to Japanese Yokai like Jikininki and Kuchisake, as well as Slavic monsters such as Vodyanoy and Psoglav. From Bigfoot and Mothman to the Nandi Bear and El Chupacabra, the game includes a vast array of creatures from around the world. Each card comes with a detailed and well-researched description, ensuring that players remain engaged and continue learning.

*Eerie Worlds* features four Alliances (Grimbald, Zerrofel, Rivin, and Synnig) and several Hordes, allowing monsters to share certain properties while differing in others. This adds a rich layer of tactical depth to the game. Your personal collection of monsters is housed in your Grimoire, which you can enhance by merging duplicate cards. With 160 basic cards available, and the potential to unlock many more through merging, the game promises an expansive and evolving experience.

Eerie Worlds GameplayAvid Games has also committed to introducing two additional Hordes in the coming months, ensuring that *Eerie Worlds* will continue to challenge and engage players no matter how much they practice.

In terms of gameplay, *Eerie Worlds* challenges you to strategize with a deck consisting of nine monster cards and one world card. Over nine 30-second turns, you'll make crucial decisions about mana usage and exploit synergies to outmaneuver your opponents. With so much to master, diving into *Eerie Worlds* is a must.

*Eerie Worlds* is available for free on both the Google Play Store and the App Store. Start your adventure today by clicking here.
