MLB Rivals Adds Hall of Famers in New Deal
- 17 legendary player cards have been added
- Add six of them to your squad during the event
- More Hall of Famers will arrive in future updates
MLB Rivals recently welcomed Phillies superstar Bryce Harper as its cover athlete, but that was only the beginning. This week, Com2uS steps up to the plate with a landmark collaboration with the National Baseball Hall of Fame and Museum, introducing 17 legendary player cards and fresh commentary from two iconic broadcasters.
The latest MLB Rivals update brings Hall of Famers like Derek Jeter, Greg Maddux, Jack Morris, and Tony Pérez into the game as powerful new cards, each with unique skills, team flexibility, and a new Potential system. These Hall of Fame Player Cards feature a higher growth ceiling than existing Special Cards, letting you build dream lineups that unite generations of baseball legends.
As part of the rollout, simply log in during the event period to instantly add one of six Hall of Famers to your roster: Jeter, Maddux, Raines, Sutton, Pérez, or Morris. Even better, these cards can be reassigned to different teams and positions to reflect each player’s real-life versatility, giving you more flexibility than ever in building your squad.

Additionally, the update introduces full play-by-play commentary from Joe Davis and color commentary from former pitcher Orel Hershiser. Davis, the voice of the Dodgers and FOX Sports' lead MLB announcer, teams up with Hershiser to bring authentic energy to each matchup, delivering a broadcast-style experience that elevates the game.
