With the release of Captain America: Brave New World, it's an exciting time to dive back into the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU), which now boasts an impressive lineup of 35 films. Which of these cinematic gems is your favorite? Do you have a special place in your heart for the early origin stories like Iron Man, or do you thrill to the epic team-ups that concluded the Infinity Saga? The MCU offers a vast array of movies to choose from, and we're focusing solely on entries from Kevin Feige's MCU empire, so no Sony Marvel films this time around (apologies to the X-Men fans—except for Wolverine, of course). Unfortunately, Captain America: Brave New World didn't meet my expectations, landing in the D tier due to what might be the clunkiest script in the MCU to date. As for the rest of the bottom tier, my placement of 2024's Deadpool & Wolverine may surprise some, but it simply didn't resonate with me. You can delve into my detailed thoughts on that here. While it's not the lowest point in the MCU, Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania currently holds that dubious honor, easily earning its place in the D tier.

On the other hand, the upper echelon is reserved for the five films I consider truly exceptional. Both Captain America: Civil War and Winter Soldier are undeniable S-tiers for me, masterfully tapping into the emotional heart of the MCU and the gripping world of paranoid espionage. Then there's Thor: Ragnarok, which stands out as one of the funniest comedies of the last decade. And, of course, both Avengers: Infinity War and Endgame delivered a spectacular conclusion to the most crucial chapter of the series.
