Today's reveal also highlights some unique elements of the set. Players can look forward to the introduction of Summons, which are Magic's first-ever Saga creatures that can be called upon for battle assistance, as exemplified by Summon: Shiva in the gallery. Additionally, the set brings back double-faced cards, demonstrated by Cecil's dual nature as a Dark Knight and a Redeemed Paladin.
In total, the Final Fantasy set will boast over 100 legendary creature cards, including 55 legendary borderless cards illustrated by beloved artists from the Final Fantasy series. This set is fully draftable and Standard-legal, set to launch on June 13. It will be accompanied by four preconstructed Commander decks, each inspired by a different Final Fantasy game: 6, 7, 10, and 14. Each deck contains 100 cards, blending new Final Fantasy cards with existing ones reimagined with fresh Final Fantasy art.
