The Last of Us Complete includes both mainline titles along with all their post-launch bonus content. This encompasses the Left Behind prequel DLC focusing on Ellie, as well as The Last of Us Part II’s No Return mode and Lost Levels. If you’re a fan of the HBO adaptation starring Pedro Pascal and Bella Ramsey but haven’t yet explored the original games, this all-in-one digital bundle is priced at $99.99.

As detailed in a PlayStation.Blog post by Naughty Dog’s Head of Studio Neil Druckmann, a physical Collector’s Edition of The Last of Us Complete is scheduled for release on July 10 at $109.99, with pre-orders live now. This edition offers additional collectibles to justify the higher price, including a Steelbook case, physical game discs, The Last of Us: American Dreams comics #1–4, four lithographic art prints, and a personal thank-you letter from Druckmann.

"On behalf of our entire studio, we extend our deepest gratitude for your unwavering support of The Last of Us and Naughty Dog over the years," Druckmann writes. "This is a milestone moment for the franchise and our teams. We are moved by your personal connections to the series, amazed by your stunning Photo Mode captures, and motivated to continue crafting stories and worlds you'll cherish."

The Last of Us originally launched on PS3 in 2013 and has remained a beloved staple in PlayStation’s lineup. However, its numerous re-releases and remasters have drawn criticism from both skeptics and fans. Joel and Ellie’s journey was enhanced for PS4 with a graphical upgrade in 2014, then fully remade for PS5 in 2022. The Last of Us Part II continued Ellie’s saga in 2020 and received its own remaster earlier in 2024. Both titles have also made their way to PC, with Part I arriving in 2023 and Part II Remastered launching just last week.

The Last of Us Complete unites all of Naughty Dog’s post-apocalyptic adventures under one banner as another re-release. Although some may question PlayStation’s decision to revisit Joel and Ellie’s world again, the timing aligns with HBO’s The Last of Us Season 2, which premieres its first episode this Sunday. A third season was officially confirmed just yesterday.
