Clash Royale's 9th Birthday: New Evolution and Challenges Await!

Clash Royale is turning nine, and it's time for a grand celebration at the Arena! The 9th birthday season of Clash Royale is packed with exciting new challenges, a fresh Evolution, and free chests for all players.

Grab Your Decks Because the Hunter Just Got an Upgrade!

The spotlight is on the Hunter, who's receiving a powerful upgrade that will change the way he controls the battlefield. The Hunter's Evolution introduces a Net that traps the nearest enemy troop, preventing them from moving or attacking. If the trapped troop is flying, it gets pulled down, making it vulnerable to ground attacks. This makes the Hunter Evolution an excellent choice for shutting down enemy pushes or supporting win-condition troops like the Royal Giant.

However, no card is without its counters. The Ice Spirit or Ice Golem can disrupt the Hunter before he gets the chance to use his ability. So, be strategic and avoid these counters, and may luck be on your side!

The Clash Royale 9th Birthday Season is Filled with Events and Challenges

The season is brimming with events and challenges. The Hunter Evolution Draft runs from March 3rd to 10th, allowing you to build decks with Card Evolutions. From March 10th to 17th, the Evolutions Mayhem event follows, where you can use up to four Evolution Cards in a deck.

Next, the Champion Triple Draft arrives on March 17th and continues until March 24th, offering a strategic draft-based battle format. From March 24th to 31st, the Mirror, Mirror challenge ensures an even playing field by giving both players identical decks.

Finally, Evolutions Mayhem returns from March 31st to April 7th, allowing up to eight Evolution Cards this time for maximum impact. All these challenges come with their own rewards, including Banner Frames, Banner Decorations, and Season Tokens.

Since it's Clash Royale's birthday, there are also free gifts available in the Supercell Store. Players in Arena 2-10 can claim a free King's Chest, while those in Arena 11 and above will receive a Legendary King's Chest.
