Apple Renews Severance Season 3
Apple has greenlit Severance Season 3 following the show's record-breaking success.
The Ben Stiller-directed sci-fi thriller has become Apple TV+'s highest-rated original series, with Season 2 setting new viewership records. Dive into IGN's Severance Season 2 review for our full analysis of the groundbreaking season.
"Bringing Severance to life has been the most thrilling creative journey of my career," Stiller remarked. "Though I'll remember none of it, I'm assured Season 3's production will be just as rewarding - another experience destined for permanent memory erasure."
Lead actor and executive producer Adam Scott added: "Reuniting with Ben, Dan, our phenomenal cast and crew, along with Apple and the Severance family has me thrilled beyond words. P.S. If you happen to meet my work self, kindly keep these plans confidential."

Apple's official description:
Severance follows Mark Scout (Scott) and his Lumon Industries team undergoing radical surgical memory separation between work and personal lives. This extreme "work-life balance" experiment unravels as Mark discovers disturbing truths about his corporation... and himself.
Season 2 saw Mark's team facing severe repercussions for breaching the severance divide, plunging them deeper into chaos. New cast members Sarah Bock and Ólafur Darri Ólafsson joined the critically acclaimed ensemble.
While Season 3's premiere remains undated, Stiller recently confirmed on the New Heights podcast that production delays won't match Season 2's three-year hiatus.
"A three-year wait absolutely isn't happening again," Stiller stated emphatically. "We'll share concrete plans shortly. That extended gap was never intentional."
"The combined writers' and actors' strike required significant recovery time," Stiller explained. "Season 2 demanded 186 shooting days with extensive post-production, but we're grateful our audience remained loyal throughout."
