Tute is a widely enjoyed card game in Spain and has gained popularity across Latin America as well. This engaging game can be played by 2 to 5 individuals, or by four players divided into teams of two.

The objective of Tute is to be the first player or team to accumulate a predetermined number of points. The game utilizes a traditional Spanish deck consisting of forty cards.

In Tute, the card hierarchy from highest to lowest is as follows: Ace (valued at 11 points), 3 (10 points), King (4 points), Knight (3 points), Jack (2 points), and then the numeric cards 7, 6, 5, 4, and 2 (the latter being white cards with no point value).

Gameplay begins with the first card played setting the suit for the round. Players are required to follow suit if possible. If a player lacks a card in the leading suit, they may play any card, including trump cards. The trick is won by the highest trump card played; if no trumps are played, the highest card of the original suit takes the trick.
