Experience the Stroop Effect and challenge your cognitive abilities.

This app is designed to demonstrate and illustrate a fascinating phenomenon that occurs within the brain and neurons. It highlights what happens when a task challenges the connection between visual color input from the optic nerves and the color name processed by the rational mind.

The Stroop test effectively challenges both your brain and mental processing.

Neuroscience background: Optic nerves transmit signals to the brain much faster than the rational mind can process them, because visual responses are immediate while conscious reasoning requires time.

Under time pressure to respond correctly, these neurological characteristics create internal impulses where you might feel compelled to select the wrong answer. At the same time, you must use conscious focus and quick thinking to provide correct responses and complete each question in progressively shorter times.

How to play:

First, select one of two modes. By default, the app starts with the Stroop Effect mode, labeled "Get Meaning, Put Color" in the menu.

When a game begins, the first question appears, and you must click one of the four color-coded buttons as your answer.

Your primary goal is to achieve as many correct answers as possible by the end of the test sequence.

Once you consistently answer all questions correctly, the next challenge is to improve your reaction speed and complete them in less time.

Features:

1. "Get Meaning, Put Color" mode (Stroop Effect) - Understand the word meaning and click the button colored accordingly.

2. "Get Color, Put Meaning" mode - Identify the display color and click the button with the correct color name.

3. Questions organized in sequential tests.

4. Results displayed after each test.

5. High scores - tracks your best performance for each level.

6. Multiple color palettes to suit different preferences.
