Broken Sword: Reforged — возрождение классического приключения

Broken Sword – Shadow of the Templars: Reforged has finally arrived. For those who remember the original 1996 game or the 2009 Director's Cut, the core of the adventure remains the same. This review covers what's different about this newest edition.
Broken Sword has been Reforged
------------------------------
The Reforged edition removes the expanded storylines introduced in the Director's Cut. As a result, the additional chapters centered on Nico, which were designed to give her a more prominent role, are no longer included. She returns to her original role as a supporting character who appears intermittently with key items.
This version is a high-definition remaster dedicated to preserving the original narrative. It features completely remastered visuals in HD and 4K, along with improved audio quality. The game is optimized for Chromebooks with full mouse and keyboard support and is also compatible with external controllers.
Broken Sword: Reforged offers a complete offline experience and supports Google Play Cloud Save. It is a single, one-time purchase with no advertisements or in-app purchases. For the launch period, it is available at a 30% discount, priced at $6.99 instead of the standard $9.99.

If you haven't, here's a brief overview. The story begins in Paris, where American tourist George Stobbart sees a café destroyed by a bomb. A mysterious clown carrying a briefcase sets the plot in motion.
This incident sends George, and eventually French journalist Nico Collard, on a journey across Europe. They uncover a complex web of conspiracies linked to the ancient Knights Templar.
The gameplay retains its classic point-and-click foundation. You'll investigate various scenes, interact with a cast of unique characters, gather an assortment of items, and use them—sometimes in non-obvious ways—to overcome puzzles.
While some puzzles are ingenious and rewarding, others may present a steeper challenge. Progress in certain areas can be gated until you have explored other parts of the game world first.
