Zenless Zone Zero 1.5 Update Leaks: Permanent Bangboo Dress-Up Mode Incoming!

Recent leaks suggest Zenless Zone Zero Version 1.5 will introduce a new, potentially permanent, Bangboo dress-up game mode. This exciting addition, revealed through whispers within the community, is expected to launch alongside the January 22nd update.

Version 1.4 delivered a wealth of content, including the S-Rank units Hoshimi Miyabi and Asaba Harumasa (the latter being free). Two new permanent combat-focused game modes also debuted, offering rewards like Polychrome and Boopon. This new trend of adding diverse gameplay experiences beyond the core action-RPG mechanics continues with Version 1.5.

Reliable leaker, Flying Flame, points towards a "Bangboo Beauty Contest" event as the launchpad for this new dress-up mode. Players will customize outfits for Eous, the beloved mascot and personal Bangboo of Wise and Belle. Leaked screenshots showcase a variety of clothing items for players to mix and match. While the dress-up mode itself is slated to become permanent, event-specific rewards will be time-limited. Rumors suggest this event may also unlock the highly anticipated Nicole Demara skin.

Beyond the Dress-Up: More Version 1.5 Speculation

In addition to the dress-up mode, other leaks hint at a temporary platformer game mode. This aligns with HoYoverse's history of incorporating non-combat, permanent game modes into their RPG titles, such as Honkai: Star Rail's cocktail-making and Genshin Impact's Genius Invokation TCG.
