The wait is over—Lost Records: Bloom and Rage, from the creators of Life is Strange, has arrived

Don't Nod, the French studio behind the acclaimed Life is Strange series, has released the first chapter of their new narrative adventure. Dive into Tape 1 now, with Tape 2 launching free for all owners on April 15th.

Initially unveiled in 2023, the game unravels the mystery of a close-knit group of friends whose lives were irrevocably shattered during the summer of 1995. Twenty-seven years later, the echoes of that fateful summer resurface, bringing unforeseen and chilling consequences.

Blending nostalgic charm with the suspense of a psychological thriller, the game draws inspiration from iconic works like It, Yellowjackets, and I Know What You Did Last Summer. The narrative is cleverly divided into two parts: Bloom and Rage. Currently, only Bloom, the first half of this haunting tale, is available (February 18th).

"The Tape," the second part, originally scheduled for March, will now launch on April 15th. This delay allows the developers to deliver a more refined and polished experience.

The review embargo has lifted, with OpenCritic reporting a respectable average score of 74/100, promising a compelling start to this gripping mystery.
