VIVA NOBOTS Alpha Testing Launches

The multiplayer stealth game VIVA NOBOTS is now available for public alpha testing on Steam. The playtest will run for two weeks, from April 24th through May 8th, 2025 (8:59 AM JST). To participate, simply visit the VIVA NOBOTS Steam store page and click the "Request Access" button.

"We sincerely appreciate your support," wrote developer and publisher SHUEISHA GAMES in their Steam announcement. "If you get the chance to try VIVA NOBOTS during this testing phase, we'd love to hear your feedback. Player input will help determine our path toward official release."

Master the Art of Deception

This competitive multiplayer game challenges 16 players to stealthily collect treasure while avoiding detection. Players disguise themselves as NPC excavation robots (called NOBOTs) to move undetected through ancient ruins. The objective is to gather more loot than rivals and climb the wanted rankings without getting caught.

Success requires blending in with NPCs while secretly digging for treasure through a slots-style mini-game that rewards both loot and power-ups. Players can use their Doubt Gun to expose impostors, eliminating opponents and claiming their dropped treasures. However, accidentally shooting an actual NPC robot carries penalties. Security bots also patrol the ruins, forcing players to remain alert and stealthy.

Victory can be achieved by either escaping the ruins with collected treasures or exposing three rival players to earn a "Victory Lap" declaration. Only the most cunning NOBOT will emerge triumphant!
