Sprigaito Stars in Pokémon Go's 2025 Community Day

Kick off 2025 with a bang! Pokémon Go's first Community Day event of the year is set for January 5th, featuring the Grass Cat Pokémon, Sprigatito! From 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM local time, Sprigatito will be appearing much more frequently.

This Sprigatito Community Day gives you a fantastic opportunity to add this Pokémon to your collection. Evolving Sprigatito into Floragato and then Meowscarada during the event (or within five hours afterward) will teach it the powerful Charged Attack, Frenzy Plant. It will also permanently learn Flower Trick, making it a valuable addition to your team.

Several bonuses will amplify your Community Day experience. Enjoy triple Stardust and double Candy for every Pokémon caught, and Trainers level 31 and above will have double the chance of receiving Candy XL. Lure Modules and Incense will last three hours, and trades will cost half the usual Stardust, with an extra Special Trade available.

For an extra challenge, a paid Special Research story will be available for $2, offering exclusive rewards including a Premium Battle Pass, Rare Candy XL, and more Sprigatito encounters. A free Timed Research will continue the fun after Community Day, giving you a week to complete tasks and earn a Sprigatito with a Dual Destiny-themed background.
