OSRS Debuts Royal Titans Dual Boss Battle

Fire and ice collide in Old School RuneScape with the explosive new Royal Titans update. Players can now join the epic battle between these elemental forces. Eager to face these formidable PvM bosses? Here's everything you need to know about this showdown.
The Royal Titans Have Arrived in Old School RuneScape
The fiery forces are commanded by Brandr, the Fire Queen, while their frosty adversaries rally behind Eldric, the King of Frost. When fire giants grow ambitious and encroach upon the Asgarnian Ice Cave, the ice giants summon Eldric to repel these fiery invaders.
What follows is a legendary clash between elemental titans that players can join. This unique Dual Boss encounter pits you against both Brandr and Eldric simultaneously. Combat requires dynamic gear switching to exploit their elemental weaknesses, as static strategies will fail. Players can either brave the encounter solo or team up with a friend.
Defeating these titanic foes offers chances to obtain the mighty Twinflame Staff and the valuable Giantsoul Amulet – an untradeable item granting instant teleportation to any of the three major giant bosses: Obor, Bryophyta, or the Royal Titans themselves.
What Rewards Await Victorious Warriors?
The Royal Titans battle brings an avalanche of rewards including rare Prayer Scrolls, Desiccated Pages, and an exclusive Fire & Ice giant pet. For Slayer enthusiasts, this update introduces a novel Slayer Alternative Task system, allowing players to earn Slayer XP while battling fire and ice giants in the boss encounter.
Meanwhile, Old School RuneScape prepares to celebrate its 12th anniversary on February 19th with special livestreams, festive in-game decorations, and unique cosmetic rewards. The arrival of the Royal Titans signals an exciting year ahead for OSRS in 2025.
