TOEM: A Photo Adventure Hits Android Early Access

TOEM: A Photo Adventure is now available in early access for Android. This delightful indie game, already released on PC, PlayStation, and Nintendo Switch, won fans over with its hand-drawn aesthetic and photography-focused gameplay.
Developed by Swedish studio Something We Made, the mobile version is brought to life by fellow Swedish team Snapbreak Games. Its calming atmosphere, clever quest structure, and Nordic-inspired worlds invite players on a serene journey.
What Is the Gameplay Like in TOEM: A Photo Adventure?
You step into the shoes of a young photographer traveling between towns, working your way to the mountaintop to witness the magical phenomenon known as the Toem. You hop on a bus to visit various locations, assisting locals and solving light puzzles along the way.
By completing tasks, you earn stamps to purchase tickets for the next part of your trip. Objectives vary from capturing the perfect shot to finding a particular creature, often requiring creative thinking to fulfill unusual requests from characters.
While the overall pace is relaxed, there's always a clear goal to pursue. Photography is handled from a first-person viewpoint, while the overworld is explored from a top-down angle.
Customization is part of the fun, too. Some missions demand specific outfits, while others let you dress up your character just for enjoyment. Completing quests may reward you with a silly hat or fun accessory for your next photo session.
You'll wander through misty woods, explore lively town centers, and more. The monochromatic art style, combined with a gentle soundtrack, creates the game's unique charm. See it in action with this preview of TOEM: A Photo Adventure.
