Master the Master Strike in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 for Brutal Melee Combat Domination

Early Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 melee combat can be unforgiving. However, mastering the Master Strike significantly simplifies things. This guide details how to learn and utilize this powerful technique.

Learning the Master Strike

Before unlocking the Master Strike, Henry must complete a questline. After the tutorial, locate Bara the beggar in Troskowitz. She'll direct you to Tomcat, initiating the "Combat Training" side quest.

Tomcat resides in the Nomads' Camp, near the Cumans' Camp and Bozhena's Hut. Complete "Combat Training I," then save your game before tackling the significantly harder "Combat Training II." Victory over Tomcat in this second training session grants you the Master Strike. Consider improving your Strength stat before attempting this challenging fight; failure can leave Henry severely injured.

How to Use the Master Strike

The Master Strike is exclusive to sword combat. During a fight, observe your opponent's weapon stance. Position your sword opposite their attack direction (e.g., hold your sword right if they attack from the left).

As your opponent strikes, a green shield icon will appear centrally on the screen. Immediately press the attack button to execute the Master Strike, parrying the incoming attack and countering with an unblockable strike. Timing and correct sword positioning are crucial for success.

Master Strike's Impact

The Master Strike is incredibly powerful, significantly reducing the difficulty of most combat encounters in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2.
