How To Beat The Lord Of Eroded Primal Fire In Genshin Impact
As the Natlan Archon Quest in Genshin Impact nears its conclusion, players are diving deeper into the game's rich lore and facing increasingly challenging combat scenarios. Among these challenges is the formidable Lord of Eroded Primal Fire, one of Natlan's weekly bosses, known for its high difficulty and unique mechanics.
This boss, a dual-sworded dragon reminiscent of the original ruler of Natlan, embodies the sinister influence of the Abyss, similar to the Riftwolves from Inazuma with its Corrosion effect. Despite its daunting nature, defeating the Lord of Eroded Primal Fire is achievable with the right strategy. Let's explore how to conquer this epic battle.
Where To Find The Lord Of Eroded Primal Fire In Genshin Impact
The Lord of Eroded Primal Fire awaits at the Stone Stele Records domain, located just south of the Statue of Seven near the Masters of the Night-Wind tribe. This shrine serves as a memorial for those lost in the Natlan battle. To access this boss, players must complete the final chapter of the Archon Quest: When All Becomes A Monument. Alternatively, you can challenge the boss through the Quick Challenge option in the Adventurer’s Handbook, bypassing the story requirement. Upon defeating the boss, you can claim rewards using 30 Original Resin for the first three weekly fights.
How To Beat The Lord Of Eroded Primal Fire In Genshin Impact
Successfully defeating the Lord of Eroded Primal Fire often requires utilizing Natlan characters such as Mavuika, Kinich, Citlali, and Mualani, due to their specialized abilities. The boss primarily remains stationary but will summon three Pillars and three Tenebrous Mimiflora during the fight, which can be more effectively countered with characters possessing Nightsoul Blessings.
Make Sure To Destroy The Three Pillars With Nightsoul Blessing
While it's possible to destroy the summoned Pillars with other characters, using Natlan characters like Mavuika, Citlali, Kinich, or Kachina significantly speeds up the process. Destroying these Pillars prevents the Dragon from unleashing an Eroded Meteor strike and immobilizes it for about 10 seconds, providing a crucial window for damage. If the Pillars aren't destroyed quickly enough, the meteor attack will commence, necessitating a shield and constant healing to survive the Corrosion effect. Reliable healers such as Furina, Kokomi, Kuki, Barbara, or Bennett are essential for enduring this phase.
Try Your Best To Dodge Or Stay Underneath The Dragon
Dodging the Lord of Eroded Primal Fire's unpredictable attacks can be challenging. The dragon may transform into smoke and move erratically, followed by swift sword slashes and smashes that alter the battlefield. When the battlefield is reduced, staying close to the dragon and attacking from underneath can be effective, but caution is necessary due to the Corrosion effect from its Eroded Dragon Breath attack. This attack involves the dragon impaling both swords into the ground, dealing Pyro and Erosion damage. Staying near its hands can provide a safe spot to avoid this attack. Immediate healing is crucial to counter the Erosion effect if hit by the dragon's slashes.
Co-Op Mode and Matching
Co-Op Mode offers a viable alternative for tackling the Lord of Eroded Primal Fire, especially if you lack Natlan characters. Teaming up with players who have characters with Nightsoul Blessings can make the Pillar phase more manageable. Simply enter the Domain, click the 'Match' button, and join another player's world to fight the boss more effectively.
This battle, unlike some other Weekly Bosses, does not have multiple phases, but it does require patience and strategic planning to overcome.
