Freedom Wars Remastered: How To Use The Cell Garden

Quick Links

Early in Freedom Wars Remastered's main storyline, you'll need to locate the Cell Garden within your Panopticon. This location subsequently serves as a safe haven for resource farming, offering a less hazardous alternative to standard operations.

While multiple Cell Gardens exist throughout the game, accessing them follows a consistent pattern regardless of your current level. Below, we detail the process of locating any Cell Garden and explain its resource-gathering mechanics.

Where To Find Cell Garden Entrances in Freedom Wars Remastered

Mattias's request to investigate a ghost girl story initiates your search for the Cell Garden. To begin, navigate to Level 2's main cell block (2-A000). In the block's left corner, you'll find a small room resembling an elevator. Interact with this device to transport yourself to 2-E165, the same area where you encountered Enzo.

From 2-E165, follow the right-hand wall to another small room containing a similar device. This will take you to 2-G100. Finally, repeat the process one last time; the far room in 2-G100 houses the device leading to the Cell Garden.

This route to the Cell Garden remains consistent across all levels. Acquiring the Quick-Travel Entitlement significantly reduces travel time. Post-completion of the main Cell Garden quest, access becomes unrestricted; however, obtaining a specific Entitlement beforehand proves beneficial.

Each device leading to the next area or the Cell Garden is clearly marked with a blue door icon.

How the Cell Garden Functions in Freedom Wars Remastered

The initial main story mission involving the Cell Garden differs from subsequent uses. Here's how it operates in later visits:

  • A one-minute time limit is imposed before expulsion.
  • The room's layout changes with each entry.
  • Eight resources, represented by small green orbs, are scattered throughout the room.

To extend your Cell Garden stay, purchase Entitlements from the Window on Liberty. Some layouts present more complex puzzles, making time extensions advantageous. The first upgrade, granting a two-minute limit, becomes available upon reaching CODE level 3.
