Extracting Items in R.E.P.O.: A Guide
*R.E.P.O.* is a thrilling cooperative horror game where your primary mission is to retrieve valuable items and survive amidst an array of randomly spawning monsters. It's a challenging endeavor, but successfully escaping with your loot not only thrills you but also rewards you handsomely. The menacing AI Taxman allows you to use your hard-earned cash to stock up on essential survival gear at the Service Station.
Securing the removal of these valuable items requires you to locate and reach the Extraction Point where your C.A.R.T of treasures is assessed, and the Taxman decides your next steps. As you progress through *R.E.P.O.*, what initially feels daunting becomes routine, allowing you to master the extraction process across various levels and against increasingly formidable monsters.
How to Extract in R.E.P.O.
In your initial foray into *R.E.P.O.*, you'll encounter just one Extraction Point. As you advance to new locations, the number of Extraction Points can increase, with a maximum of four. You can monitor your progress by observing the red number in the right-hand corner of your screen, which indicates both the total number of Extraction Points and how many you've completed.

At the start of each level, the first Extraction Point is conveniently located near your R.E.P.O. truck. This spot remains constant, providing a reliable drop-off point for your first haul of valuables. Subsequent extractions, however, add layers of complexity.
After your initial drop-off, you'll need to navigate the level as usual, without knowing the Taxman's demands or the location of subsequent Extraction Points. Here, your in-game map becomes invaluable. By hitting the "Tab" key, you can view unexplored areas, helping you strategize routes and, if playing with others, coordinate to cover more ground efficiently.

Finding the next Extraction Point involves keen observation and listening for cues. Once you locate it, press the prominent red button to learn your fate and whether you've gathered enough loot. If successful, place your C.A.R.T within the designated grey area to ensure all items are safely accounted for, avoiding any risk of destruction.
Depending on the number of remaining Extraction Points, you'll either move on to the next one by repeating the process or attempt a safe return to the truck. Remember, after the final Extraction Point, you don't need to bring the C.A.R.T back to the truck; a new one will be available at the next location or level.
