Epic Games Store Offers Free Games, Expands Titles
The Epic Games Store mobile app is undergoing a significant upgrade. This update brings nearly 20 new third-party games to the platform, alongside the popular free games program. Currently, you can grab Dungeon of the Endless: Apogee for free until February 20th!
Epic Games Store's mobile expansion is a big deal. The first wave of third-party titles is now available, and the highly anticipated free games program is launching worldwide on Android and in the European Union on iOS.
This update includes almost 20 new third-party game releases and the integration of Epic's free games program. This month's free game is Dungeon of the Endless: Apogee, claimable until February 20th, followed by Bloons TD6.
A key feature is cross-platform integration. Players can use their Epic account across Android and iOS devices, and a new auto-update feature keeps game libraries current.
Epic Games' commitment to its mobile storefront is evident. While the PC version lags behind Steam, the free games program on mobile is a strong incentive. Epic's pro-developer revenue-sharing model is also a significant factor in its competition with Apple.
